You have many choices when selecting a real estate agent. Good choices. But, even though I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Drake University, it's what I've learned in life that really shapes my attitude about service with home buyers and sellers.

For instance, even though I love learning about computers, I've found that many agents get so involved with trying to make their computers work and "playing around" with them that they don't focus on YOU!

For instance, in the time that it would take me to put all of this information on this site alone, I could be focusing on the needs of buyers and sellers. So, I would rather pay someone who is talented to do this for me ... in order to free my time for showing, marketing, client phone calls and contacts.

What does that mean in the "real" world? Well, consider this example: When you call, if I'm not in the office, I PROHIBIT our receptionist from putting you into "voicemail." You've been there. You leave a message and wonder if anyone got it. When will you get a call back? WILL you get a call? So, I always have your message paged to me so that I can get back to you PERSONALLY ... AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

In conclusion: There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional - integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how I work.

That said, in my experience as a Wichita real estate professional, I've also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs.

This "client first" philosophy has always been my approach and it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business. In addition, I've found that the latest technologies are enabling me to do everything I've always done, only much more quickly and efficiently. They've also helped me to extend the range of services I provide to my clients.
